まず今回私が申し上げたいのは、
寮がクラブなんです。
リョウガクラブ
Here I want to say, “Dormitory is a Club”.
Dormitory = Club
寮が毎晩クラブなんです。
夜寝たとして、地響きで2、3時ごろ目覚めます。
初めの頃は「じ、地震！？」って驚いてたものです。
Every night dormitory turns into a club.
I was waken up middle of the night by vibration of the bed.
Early days I was surprised that as earthquake.
これ、EDM系ミュージックの重低音なのです。
But the vibration was woofer sound of EDM music.
、どこから？？と部屋を出て音の鳴るほうへいくと
10部屋くらい隣の部屋から聞こえてきてたんです。
I tried to find where the music come from,
then I found the sound came from the room which is 10 rooms far from mine.
いや、10部屋分も離れてこの音量ってどんだけやねん。
2段ベッドが揺れるくらいの音量。
How noisy the sound shook a bunk bed far away.
その部屋に入ると、何人ものパーリーピーポーが踊り狂ってます。
Entering the noisy room, there were many party people dancing.
まあ、まあね、
わかるよーその気持ち
I actually understood their thought.
閉鎖的な環境で踊り狂いたくなる時もあるわなと、思ってたんですが
Closed situation made us dance crazy sometimes.
朝までやるんですよ。5時くらいまで。
The problem is they were dancing until morning.
体力凄くない？と思い
I couldn’t believe their toughness.
わたしは日中の授業に向かいます。
and went to class.
そして、その夜また！！
「ズンッズンッズンッズンッズンッズンッ」
EDM今夜もキマッてんなあー！
At the night,,, EDM sounds louder again!!!
金曜とかじゃないんですよ。普通に毎日クラブが開催されるのです。
It was not only Friday. The “Club” held everyday.
寮がクラブと化している、というか
もはや、学生寮っぽいコンセプトのクラブにいると言った方が正しい。
It is more suitable that was just dormitory-like club than dormitory.
毎日オールナイトで騒いで、え、眠くない？日中
同じクラスにいなかったのでわかりませんが、絶対授業出てないやろ！
Those students had fun at the party everyday. Aren’t they sleepy at noon?!
They should not be in a class!
パーティーしに学校来てるんですよ、絶対。
パーティー学科ね。パーティー学科なら良いよ。
They came to the U.S. to hold party!
or they are student of faculty of Party, must be.
アメリカは日本と違って、授業への出席率が絶対的な評価になります。
例えば出席率が80%を切ると、外国籍の学生は学生ビザが効力を失い、
母国へ強制帰国されてしまいます。
In the U.S., the attendance is the most important index to evaluate students.
For example, if the attendance lower than 80%, foreign student would lose student VISA then be forced to return home.
授業、、出てないよね、それか出てるけど寝てるのか？いや、やっぱり日本人と違って体力ゲージの桁が違うのか、、、なんて考えてました。
あいつら強制出国されないかなーといらぬ心配してました。
Did they attend a class? Or They just had incomparable physical strength…?
All time I care their attendance which is meaningless.
まあ、パーティー学科はまた評価基準違うのか。
Or just our evaluation index differ from faculty of party.
