NY、やっぱりアートな街だなあ、です。
NY was such an artistic town, as we thought.
自由の国アメリカ、さらにはニューヨークとなると
アメリカンドリームを求めて様々な人間が集まってきます。
Freedom America, moreover in NewYork
there were a lot of people who gathered for American dream.
日常生活の中で特に顕著に感じるのが、アート！芸術です。
We could be surprised at how artistic the people are in NY.
世界各地から表現者が集まってくるニューヨーク、
アートが大変なことになっています。
アートが爆発しているんです。
Many artists gathered in NY.

いつでもどこでもどのような形でも
自分を表現しています。
NewYorkers express themselves freely, anytime, anywhere.
例えば駅！大きめの地下鉄の駅なら必ずと言って良いほどこんなパフォーマーがいます。
A station as a first example. There were usually performers in a large subway station.
演奏のクオリティは抜群！パフォーマーが多いわけかかなりレベル高い、
洗練されています。
The level of performance was quite high!
They were so sophisticated, it may be because of saturation of artists.
いや機材持ち込みすぎだろ！
Too much equipment, though!!
そんな音楽系もあると思えば、こちらは
繊細！マリオネット！人形劇！
Besides music artists, there were a person who played a puppet show.
大胆なアクロバティック系も！
also acrobatic bold performers!
たくさんの種類があって飽きないねー
レベルがちょー高い！
There were bunch of varieties of performances.
All of those were so high quality.
このようなパフォーマーたちはチップをもらっています。
ただ本職なんなんだろう。。
アーティストなのかな。
Those performers got a tip by performance, however,
I don’t know there main job. An artist?
ちょいと休憩で、ゴミ箱漁ったり。。してましたけども。
Sometimes seeking something in trash can.
そういえば、初日に見たスタッフも突然歌い踊りだしてくれたなあ。
By the way, the staff I saw in my first dat in the U.S. suddenly showed us dance & singing.
アーティストだけではなくて、国民にエンターテイナーの血が流れているんでしょうね！
Not only artists, I thought Americans were born with entertain talent!!
町中、壁にはグラフィティがたくさん
Off course, there were many graffiti in town.
これは真昼間やってたので公式だと思いますが、たくさんのアーティスティックな落書きも至る所に存在してます。
Below one seems official work though, a lot of artistic graffiti could be seen anywhere.
その最たるものが5 pointz ですね。
The most famous one was “5 points”.
5 points とは、元々は工場だった場所にあったいわゆる「落書き」されている場所です。
“5 points” was exactly graffiti on the site of a factory.
90年代から正式にグラフィティ活動できる場所となってからは
「壁アート」の聖地となっています。
The place became graffiti sanctuary after becoming the right place of graffiti on the wall in 1990s.

ただそれが、、2014年から解体されることになったのです。
however,,, the sanctuary was decided to be destroyed which was started in 2014.
ちょうどアメリカ生活していた2013−2014年、世界的なアートの聖地の大変革時に立ち会いました。当時現地でも話題になっていましたねー。
I was in the N.Y. from 2013 to 2014 which was exactly the time when the world’s art heritage ended. This topic was so hot at that time.

残念ながら、完全な更地にされて現在は住宅街として再開発されているようです。。寂しい

ヴァイオリンですよ、、おしゃれー
It was a violin,,
なかなか日本では見かけない光景ですね。
Such a fashionable sight which is hardly seen in Japan.
1番驚いたのが、、
電車でのポールや吊革を使ったパフォーマンス！！
The most surprising one was,,
the performance using poles and straps on the train.
これめちゃくちゃ激しいんですよ。
This performance was so vigorous.
お兄さんがポール使ってダンスしてるのわかりますかね、、
A young guy dancing using a pole.
ポールダンスというよりはもうブレイクダンスを空中でやってる感じ。
ぶんぶん体を回転させてり足振り回したり、、、危ないよ
座ってたら目の前を足が高速で通り過ぎるんでめっちゃ怖いんです。
It was more like aerial breakdance than a pole dance.
rotating his body and swinging his legs around,,, which was so dangerous.
ただ、実際にぶつかったことはない、ぶつかっているところも見たことない。
うまいんでしょうねー。
but I’ve never seen it hitting to passengers. Told us the height of the performance level.
パフォーマンス後はチップを求めてくるんですが、やりたくないんですよねー
やめて欲しいから笑 感じ取ってくれないかなあ。。
ホームでやれよ！わざわざ車両内でやんな。
They asked for a tip after the performance every time, but I didn’t want to give them it because I wanted them to stop performing. 🙂
Should do at the train platform at least! Why trying to bother us on the train??

It was a disaster if we encounter those dancers on a train.
Why do I have to be nervous on the move with paying attention to the movement of the black guy’s toe?
まあただ、総じて、パフォーマンスのレベルが高い。
さすがNY！将来のエンターテイナーのたまごたち、なんでしょうね。
By the way, all performance in the N.Y. was quite high level.
That’s N.Y. They must be future entertainers.
