ペルー首都リマの移動手段はバスがメインです。電車は発達してません。

街中はバスがたくさん走っていて、ペルー人は日本同様にぎゅうぎゅうになりながら満員バスで移動してます。

The main transportation was bus in Lima.  There was no train in the city part.

Peruvian was packed in the bus like Japanese every day.

旧市街にある「アルマス デ リマ広場」へGO！

Headed to “Plaza de Armas of Lima” in old part of Lima!!

リマの街並みから急にあらわれる超歴史的な広場

This super historical place suddenly appeared from Lima town.

スペイン人が南米征服、いわゆるインカ帝国征服の拠点としたのがここリマなんです。

16世紀からスペイン人による侵略が始まったこの場所、当時の修道院や大聖堂が残っており、現在では大統領府もこの地区に集まっています。

スペイン風な街並みを感じられますねー

Here, Lima was the place where Spanish based to conquer the Inca Empire and South America.

The invasion began in the 16th century.  Monasteries and cathedrals built at that time still exist with office of the president now.

Those building were built in Spanish style.

1991年にはこの旧市街がユネスコの世界文化遺産に登録されています。

This old town was registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 1991.

いや歴史ぃーーーーー

世界一ハトがおおい広場でした。

The most pigeon-rich place in the world.

こんな歴史的な広場なんですが、おじいおばあから若い子まで幅広い世代の憩いの場みたいになっていました。

Various generations gathered and relaxed there despite of such a historical place.

こんなにちっちゃい子もね〜

Even such small cute children were there.

日本にはあんまりないかな？？

京都と巣鴨と原宿が混ざったような空間

Very few places in Japan like this plaza which young guys and elders shared.

この広場で出会ったペルー在住日本人たち！真ん中が私。

10代で若いのにみんな単身でスペイン語を学んだり、サッカー留学しに来たりしていました。すごい！

Japanese living in Lima who I met in this plaza!!!

They were there and away from their family to study Spanish or football even though they’er young teenagers.

100年前頃から日本からペルーへは移民が渡っていて、現在は10万人ほど日系人が暮らしているそうです。親日国としても有名ですよね、旅中にそれを感じる節が結構ありました。

Immigrants from Japan have moved to Peru from 100 years before.  More than 100 thousand people of Japanese descent live in Peru now.  Peru is also famous for Japanophilia.

広場の近くでは偶然お祭りやってました。

おしゃれな街並みと陽気なお祭り、イイネ！！

The local festival was held then, nice atmosphere and feeling cheerful.

旧市街の街並みはこんな感じで、夜も結構人がいる！

This is how the old town look like.  Many people were on the street even at night.

市場やレストランがたくさんあって、出店も出てました。めっちゃイイ感じの雰囲気。

There were a lot of various restaurants and food stand.  That’s cool.

Japanese are papular among local girls

ってことなんです。めちゃくちゃモテます。

in Lima.  I was VEEERY popular here.

街を歩いていると、驚きの体験が。

Rare experience occurred when I was walking street.

街を歩くだけで若いペルー人から黄色い声をかけられます。

もう次々と。若めの子とすれ違うとほぼ確実に！！

きゃーーー！！写真撮ってえーーーーーー！！！！

Almost all young Peruvian girls passing by came running towards me and said,

”Aww photo with me!!!!!!!!”

．．．．．．．．．．いやほんとですよ？

…this is certainly true.

ペルー最高っ！！！

もう全然住める！！！！

Lovely Peru!  Can live forever here!!

他の国ではなかなかない体験です。

Japanese hardly have experience like this in other countries.

ペルーにはもともとはアジアをルーツに持つインディアン（原住民）が住んでいました。

そこにスペイン人、初め世界から様々な人種が流入してきた歴史があります。

人種面ではかなりダイバーシティな国ですが、キューバ等中南米諸国とは異なり、スペイン系白人が多いわけではないです。

現地の人々の顔をみてもどことなくアジアンテイストな方が多いです。

見た目的な親近感を感じて、海外ではあるが、日本人男性もギリ土俵に上がれるかな、、、と感じました！！！

Indian (aboriginal people) with Asian roots had lived in Peru.  Then foreigners including Spanish emigrated to Peru.

Unlike Cuba and Central American countries, there were rich in various races not only Spanish Caucasian.

Somehow I could feel familiar with Peruvian.  It may caused by their Asian taste face.

Japanese still have a chance to survive in the “single” market in Peru to be together with a woman.

また、韓流スターとか、珍しく日本の男性アイドルも人気らしいです。若いペルビアンの間ではアジア系アイドルの動画やドラマが流行ってるみたい！

と、いうわけなので、「日本人がモテる数少ない国の一つ」として大事に大事に脳内インプットしてます。

Korean idol and Japanese idol were famous from young Peruvian girls.  Especially YouTube and drama which Asian idols appeared on were hot there!

I tattooed “Peru is rare country where Japanese is popular among local girls” in my head.

At the plaza, I met Peruvian Rihanna which was not as famous as “Rihanna”.
