アンコールワットといえば、言わずと知れたカンボジアの観光名所ですが、素晴らしいのは、建物だけではないのです。
アンコールワットの本当の魅力をご紹介します。

近いのでゲストハウスからチャリで向かいます。
Head to Angkor Wat!
We went there from Yamato guest house by bicycles.
チャリはゲストハウスで借りれます。
The guest house lend us bicycles.
まあ、交通整理なんてないですよね。。
Needless to say, no traffic control.
ヤマトゲストハウスからチャリで爆走し、約20分
アンコールワットに到着！
I ran on a bicycle for 20 min from Yamato guest house.
Finally, we arrived at Angkor Wat.
玄関まで遠いタイプ、

なんか水たまりがいい感じ
こんな感じで水濠で囲まれていました。
Wat was surrounded by nice puddle.

すんごい広いのです
こんな城壁がずーっと続いてる

このアンコールワットはだいたい1km超四方の広さらしいです。東京ドーム40個分！！
ただ、、あくまでもこのアンコールワットはアンコール遺跡群の一部であり
周囲にはたくさんの遺跡があるのです。
The area of Angkor Wat is more than 1km square. It’s about the same size as 40 Tokyo Domes.
This Wat is only a part of “Angkor Archeological Site”.
わたしも訪れたベンメリアやアンコールトム等を含めて、東西20kmにも及ぶ規模なのです！
クメール王朝の繁栄がうかがえます。
There are a bunch of remains like Beng Mealea and Angkor Tom in 20km square.
It reflects prosperity of the Angkor Dynasty.
構内も1日では巡れないほどの広さで、

ただ所々崩れているところが散見されます。

アンコールワットはアンコール遺跡群の中でも最も大きな寺院遺跡ですが、
1970年代に、独裁者ポル・ポト率いる共産主義勢力の宗教禁止政策によって破壊されてしまったのです。。
Angkor Wat was destroyed by communist forces led by Pol Pot in 1970s, even it was the largest temple ruins in Angkor Archelogical County.

プレアヴィヒアに引き続き、絶景でした
Following Preah Vihear, this was also a superb view.
構内にはお土産屋＆食事処のお店が集まっているところがあります。
There were a lot of souvenir shops & restaurants there.

幼いのに、、働いているんですねー
They were working despite their young age.
こんなにはっきり、たくさんのちっちゃい子が売り子をしている光景をみたのは確か初めてで
衝撃でした
This was the first time that I have seen many little girls selling goods.
This sight made me shocked.
観光に来るリッチ外国人からこうやってお金をもらって生活の足しにしているのでしょう。
リッチ外国人のみなさま、 2、3万くらいはこの女の子にしっかり落としていきましょうね。

こんなちーちゃいのにすでに完全な商売人です。

自分の小学生時代からは考えられないような交渉テクニック！！
