Thought the sign says “Sexy Zone”, it was actually “Safety Zone”.

そして絶対Unsafety。

It seems absolutely “Unsafety” here.

美しい女性たちが店内外にたくさんいらっしゃいます。

Ladyboyとはいわゆるニューハーフですが、

手術で女性の身体になった人も、そうでない人もいます。

タイは、言わずと知れたladyboy大国なのですが、

These job is a big payout for the poor, so some of them become woman in order to get money. Can’t believe it.

また、徴兵制にも原因があるみたいです。

タイには国民の義務として徴兵制が敷かれています。

戸籍上は男性ですが、レディーボーイの場合は身体が女性なので

徴兵を免除されることもある、のです。

Furthermore, there is also a cause for conscription to become ladyboy.

Thailand has a conscription as a duty of the people.

Ladyboy are sometimes exempt from conscription because they have  a woman body, even though they are registered as a man.

身体を変えてまで、、、軍役を避ける、、

この優先順位何なんだ？！

They try to be exempt from conscription so far as to changing body sex.

I don’t understand their priority at all.

あとね、ここオフィス街のど真ん中なんですね。衝撃の位置関係。

結構きれい目の高層ビル群の中に数百メートルだけGOGOBAR等が並ぶ道が存在してました。

日本でいう、丸の内のど真ん中に吉原が存在してる感じですね。

ガラス張りの高層ビルから出てくるスーツビシッとのサラリーマンが歩く通り、、、

横に目を移すと夜の歓楽街、、、

富裕層と貧困層がこんなに近くで共存している、混沌としている感！現実味がありません。

In fact, Thailand is a super-disparity society where only 1% of the population owns 70% of total assets.

It is chaotic that the rich and the poor are next to each other.

不思議ー。

オフィス街ができて→歓楽街が突如生まれて、、

という順番らしいです。

It sounds very strange.

Originally there was the office district, but suddenly red-light district was created.

世界的に超有名な歓楽街になったのも、

このマーケットが充実しているためで、それはここで働き始める人が多いからなのでしょう、、

Because many people start working there, the entertainment district is prosperous and famous for “Safety zone” in the world.

格差社会、貧困、考えさせられました。。。

It made me think a lot seriously.

当時は下痢で大変でした。。。

And I was really suffering from diarrhea at that time.
