ボリビアの都市ラパスから夜行バスでウユニ塩湖を目指します！
Headed for Uyuni salt flat from La Paz by night bus!
ラパスからウユニ塩湖まで600 km弱離れているので、夜行バスでの移動です！
There was 600 km distance from La Paz to Uyuni salt flat, and the main transportation was a night bus.
なんか、もはや20000km離れた地球の裏側に来ると片道600kmくらいは余裕ですね。ちょっくらコンビニ、いくか、くらい。
I could easily travel 600 kilometers one way because I’ve already come to the other side of the world, 20,000 kilometers away. I felt it like I just go to a convenience store for a bit.
まずは、バス会社を探します。バス会社の事務所はラパスの街中心地にありました。
Firstly, we had to find the bus company in La Paz.
メインどころのバス会社が2社ほどありましたが、

その会社の事務所に行って直接予約を取ります。
事務所が営業時間通りに空いてなかったり、スタッフも気さくで優しいけど適当すぎてこれほんとに予約取れているのか？？と不安になりますが、まあそのスリルも楽しみながら夜バス乗り場へ向かう。
Went to the bus company office and got reservation.
The office didn’t open on schedule and the staff was halfhearted. Those made us very anxious. Of course I enjoyed even that anxiety.
こーゆーとこに夜行バスがたくさん止まっています。
ウユニ行きだけではなく、さまざまな行き先のバスが止まってました。
Not only for Uyuni, there were many night buses on the street.
ウユニ行きのバスは2台で同じ時間に出発しました。
やはり人気がある路線ですね、乗客がめっちゃ多かったです。
We had two night buses for Uyuni at the same departure time.
There were many tourists in these buses as a popular route.
しゅっぱーつ、何といってもバスから見えるラパスのすり鉢状の夜景がめっちゃ綺麗。
After all, the night view of the mortar-shaped landscape of La Pazhe was so beautiful.
ラパスを夜に出発し、翌朝早朝にウユニに着きます。大体8時間くらいのバス旅です。
Departured La Paz at midnight, then arrived Uyuni at next early morning after 8 hours journey.
乗っていたら、飲み物が提供された！！優しい。
In the bus we got a tea.
車内で提供されたお茶、マテ茶！！さすが標高3000mオーバーの路線。デフォルトが高山病に効くマテ茶です↓
Mate-tea was served for altitude sickness. This is exactly the night bus running at an altitude of 3000m.

さらには、車内食も提供されました！ちゃんとあったかい。。行き帰りで1食ずつ
In addition, we also got warm meals on board.
いやあーなんか意外と至れり尽くせりだなあ、と思ったら、突然ゆっくりとバスが止まる。。
I was impressed that hospitality, then the bus suddenly came to a slow stop.
そして運転手から「全員降りろー」と。
“Get off, everybody” the driver said.
ん？着いた？
Arrived?
いや何もない！何もない街！！どこここ？！
No, it didn’t. Nothing here. Where am I??
まだ深夜3時くらい。ほかほか寝てたのに叩き起こされて外に放り出され、、、死ぬほど寒いんですよ。-10度です。
I was thrown off the bus about 3 a.m. although I was sleeping well.
That was soooooo freezy, -10℃.
どうやらバスを変えるらしい。。
Apparently, they were going to change the bus.
めっちゃ怖かったー。ていうかバス変えるの謎すぎる！
言葉も通じない運転手と訳もわからない街。降りて別のバスに乗り組むのも怖かったー
フェイクバスの可能性ありますからね。
How come they change the bus at midnight at place with nothing. That was so scary and strange for me to get on a new bus which could have been fake.
やっとこさ早朝にウユニ塩湖がある街、ウユニに到着！
Finally, arrived at Uyuni town!
カラフル。で可愛い感じ。思っていたのとは違う。
It was a colorful city which is different from what I imagined.
世界一過酷なラリーレース、ダカールラリー(https://www.dakar.com/en/)のモニュメント。
ウユニ塩湖もレースカーが爆走するらしい。。。
This is the monument of Dakar rally which is most tough race in the world.
Surprisingly many cars running wild even in Uyuni salt lake.
ウユニからの帰りもラパスへのバスを使いました。
We used the night bus as the way back to La Paz.
バス停に行くと、満席の文字ばかり。。
Almost all sign said “full” at the bus stop. The night bus departures from Uyuni had a full of reservation usually.
みなさん往復で予約するか、街に到着するやすぐに帰りのチケットを予約しているみたいです。
Most tourists had already reserved the round ticket or got it as soon as they arrived the city.
ウユニ発のバスは予約がすでに埋まりまくっているので、往復予約をしておいた方が良いですよ〜！！
I strongly recommend the reservation of a round trip.
我々は当然片道のみの購入だったので、帰りの便は空いていた座席に何とか滑り込めました！
Unfortunately we bought only the one way trip, we somehow slipped into the remaining seats.
バスの便数は決まっているので、次の日乗ろうとしてもまた満席の可能性があります。。。このsioしかない街に永遠に取り残されないようにね！！
Even if you try to get on the bus the next day, the bus would be full again. Don’t get left behind forever in this city filled with salt!
