カイロから遺跡の街ルクソールへ、寝台列車で向かいました。

エジプトはナイル川が縦断していて、古来よりその周辺にしか人は住んでいません。国民の95％がナイル川沿いに住んでいます。よって、遺跡も全てナイル川沿いに存在しています。
Egypt is traversed by the Nile, and people have only lived around it since ancient times. 95% of the population lives along the Nile River. Therefore, all the ruins also exist along the Nile River.
面白いのが、ピラミッドや遺跡は全てナイル川の西側に造られている、ということです。
古代エジプト人にとって、太陽が昇る東側は「現世」や「誕生」を意味し、日が沈む西側は「死者の国」や「冥界のへの入り口」を表していました。
古代エジプト人はナイル川を中心の生活を送っており、古くから王墓は「死者の国」であるナイル川の西側に造られたと考えられています。
The interesting thing is that all the pyramids and ruins are built on the west side of the Nile River.
For ancient Egyptians, the east side where the sun rises means “present life” and “birth”, and the west side where the sun sets represents “afterlife” and “the land of the dead”.

また、ナイル川を挟んで地盤の状態も異なっていたようで、西側の方が岩盤が固く平坦でピラミッド建築などに適していたこともあるようですね

外国人は個室客室に案内されるようで、3人で4人部屋に泊まりました！最高

建物なさすぎて基本的に地平線の光景が広がっています
The sunrise seen from the room was beautiful.
There was no building that the scene of the horizon was basically spreading.
なんとコーヒーやら温かい飲み物と共に朝ごはんも提供してくれます。
Surprisingly, coffees or hot teas were served in morning besides breakfasts.
でもパンすぎるなあさすがに。さすがにパンすぎるよこれは、朝から喉通りませんよ。
石くらい硬く乾燥したパンを胃に詰め込みます。
but,, everything is bread, it’s definitely BREAD.
The bread didn’t go through my throat since it’s morning.
Pack the bread that is as hard as a stone and dry into my stomach.
到着ルクソール！ Arrived at Luxor!!
ボロいね。 It’s shabby.
バリバリの観光名所なのですが、駅はボロすぎます。必要最低限すぎる
Luxor is a very famous tourist attraction though, the station is too tattered.

エジプトではキャリーバッグが全く意味を成しません。
The street and platform was basically sand.
In Egypt, carry bags don’t make any sense at all.

アパートはこんな感じ。カイロに比べると街から鉄骨感が少なくなり全体的に茶色い

ピラミッド建設の頃にはすでにビールは醸造していたみたいです。なんと壁画にもその様子が残っているらしい。

人生初！エジプトの他に中国、フランス、などでは食べられているようです。

この宿はナイル川の辺りに位置し、徒歩圏内にルクソール神殿やらカルナック神殿やら、、
この街すごすぎる
This hotel is located around the Nile River, and within walking distance of Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple, Amazing.
これが死者の世界と現世を分つナイル川。
ホテルやら繁華街はナイル川の東側に、遺跡は西側にあるので
観光時は1日に何度かナイル川を往復します。
This is the Nile River that separates the world of the dead and alive.
Hotels and downtown are on the east side of the Nile River, and the ruins are on the west side.
When sightseeing, we go back and forth on the Nile River several times a day.

ナイル川の西側、「王家の谷」に向けて進みます
なんと60以上の王のお墓がここで発見されているそう
On the west side of the Nile River, went for the “Royal Valley”

ハトシェプスト女王葬祭殿 معبد حتشبسوت The funeral hall of Queen Hatshepsut
ハトシェプスト女王によって建てられたのですが、、紀元前1500年ですよ！！ まだ縄文時代！
ちなみに、古代エジプト最初の女王とのこと。ただ地位を正当化するため、髭をつけたりして男性の姿をしていたらしい。。。
It was built by Queen Hatshepsut, it was 1500 B.C.!! It’s still the Jomon period in Japan!
By the way, she was the first queen of ancient Egypt. She pretended like a man with a beard just to justify her position. . .

東京ディズニーリゾートと同じくらいだそう。ランドとシー合わせた広さですよ！

このようなトラックに乗って、中まで入っていきます。

この王家の谷を奥まで進むと、あのツタンカーメンの墓があります。
Going deep through this royal valley, you will find the tomb of Tutankhamun.
基本的にこの景色が永遠に続いています。
ふとした岩の割れ目から内部へ、ほっそーい洞窟を入り口から何mも深いところへと進んでいくと、どなたかのお墓があるという状態
なお残念ながらほぼ全てのお墓が盗掘に遭っているそうです。
Basically, this scenery continues forever, from a sudden crack in the rock to the inside.
If you go through the slender cave to a place deep from the entrance, there is someone’s grave.

これは墓作る方もぶっ飛んでるし、東京ディズニーリゾートの広さの岩山、谷の中奥深くから墓を探す盗人もぶっ飛びすぎよ。
This is super crazy as those who make graves, and thieves who are looking for graves from deep in the rocky mountains and valleys of Tokyo Disney Resort vast area.
今度は船で東側にまた戻ってきて、、、
