我々はホテルの壁に貼ってあったタクシーツアーをチャーター
ギザとサッカラ、にあるピラミッド、遺跡群を見にいきました。
We chartered a taxi tour that was on the wall of the hotel.
WeI went to see the pyramids and ruins in Giza and Saqqara.
そもそもエジプトには100以上のピラミッドが発見されているそうで、意外と？とってもたくさんあります。
More than 100 pyramids have been discovered in Egypt, that’s surprising! There are so many.
Giza
ついにきました人生初ピラミッド！！
It’s finally here, the first pyramid of my life!!
さすがに壮観すぎる。
It’s really really too spectacular.
その大きさと荘厳さに目と脳が驚いて、現実なのかわからなくなる不思議な状態に陥りますが、確かにそこに存在しているのです
My eyes and brain are surprised by its size and majesty, and fall into a confusing condition where I don’t know if it’s real or fantasy,,, but it certainly exists there.
砂漠にいきなり現れるピラミッド、御殿場あたりをドライブすると富士山が急に大きく現れるのと似ている。。。
Pyramids suddenly appear in the desert.
It’s similar to Mt. Fuji suddenly appearing big when you drive around Gotemba, Japan. . .
驚くべきことにカイロ中心部からめっちゃ近い！
空港からカイロより、ギザのピラミッドからカイロの方が近いのです。都市型ピラミッド。
何1000年もこの場所はずっとエジプトの中心だったと。
Surprisingly, it’s very close to the urban area of Cairo.
The Giza Pyramids are closer from Cairo than the airport from Cairo. Absolutely this is Urban pyramid.
This place has always been the center of Egypt for thousands of years.
لَبَّيْكَ ٱللَّٰهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ
これが紀元前2500年前にできたってのが信じられないわ、ありえない。
That’s unbelievable this was made 2500 B.C., it’s completely impossible.
どーやって積み上げたん？！と、改めてその不思議さに感じます
世界の七不思議になっているだけあります。
How did they stack it up?! That’s strange. Feel that again and again.
This is what makes it the seven wonders of the world.
ピラミッドは基本的に、表面は石灰岩、内部は花崗岩でできているらしい
The pyramid is basically made of limestone on the surface and granite on the inside.
ツルッとした表面の岩もあれば、こんな岩もあるみたい
There are rocks with a smooth surface, and also rocks like this.
ギザにもいました現地ルドレン。きゃわいいね
Here in Giza, the local children are living. Cute.
ギザのピラミッドの敷地内に生息、観光客と戯れたり、時にマネタイズしたり、、する。
「あぁ、地元？ ギザだよ」
これは強すぎる
They lives near the Giza Pyramids, playing with tourists, and sometimes monetizing.
“Oh, my hometown? It’s Giza.”
This sounds so envy.
Lunch
道中のレストランで腹ごしらえ。
Had lunch at a restaurant on a way.

Charcoal BBQ! Chicken, shish kabab, and so on
うまい！なんだうまいじゃあないかエジプト！
It’s good! It’s good, Egypt!! You did it!
この広場、なんかポニーがいたり、猿がいたり、変わった置き物があったり、プールがあったり、、レストランなのか何なのかわからない不思議な、でも楽しい場所でした。
This place was a strange place where there were ponies, monkeys, unusual ornaments, pools, and I didn’t know if it was a restaurant or something, but it was a fun place.
Saqqara
ギザの後は、サッカラという場所も訪れました
ギザと同じ時代の古代ファラオたち16人が眠っている王墓です。
After Giza, we also visited Saqqara, where is a royal tomb where 16 ancient pharaohs from the same era as Giza pyramids are sleeping.
工事中でしたがこれは最古のピラミッドと言われている、ジョセル王の階段ピラミッド
Unfortunately it was under construction, but this is said to be the oldest pyramid,
“Pyramid of Djoser”
階段状になってますね、（ボロボロすぎて今にも崩れそうだけど大丈夫か？？）
It’s like a staircase, (it’s about to collapse,,, is that okay??)
こういう岩から削っていったんでしょうね
I guess those pillar were scraped from a rock like this.
このピシャリと揃った石造。素晴らしい。
Stones are carved and properly arranged. It’s wonderful.
対して、
on the other hand,,
こちらが現代の建物です。
this is a modern building.
戦時中ですか？という具合のボロボロさ
屋根破壊されてるし、
It’s tattered like it was during the war.
The roof has been destroyed,
あ、雨降らないからいいのか。
Oh, is it okay because it doesn’t rain?
偉大すぎた、ピラミッド。
Great Pyramid.
